IELTS exam overview 2024

Types of IELTS test

IELTS exam is conducted in both modes (computer based and paper based). There is no big difference on the test format, time, and pattern. The computer based test is taken during all the 7 days in a week. But paper based test is conducted 4 times in one month.

IELTS Exam 2024 test day advices
On the test day, be prepared for the test and any unpredicted question of the interviewer. To understand the test and its type, few tips are mentioned below:
- First of all, you should take rest before the test day.
- Don’t skip breakfast at the test day. Because it gives you more energy and boosts your confidence.
- You must reach before starting the test.
- Avoid being nervous.
- Don’t cheat or copy into the test because this is an international test.
- Don’t waste your time. You are given 2 hours and 45 minutes because there is no break between the modules.
- Into the examination hall, you are allowed to take transparent water bottle.
- You should wear comfortable clothes that give you more confidence.
- You aren’t allowed to take phone or any electronic device into the test center.
- Remember, you cannot take dictionary or extra paper into the room.
- Before starting the test, examiner will check your ID document. Don’t forget it at home on the test day.
- You must listen to all those instructions which are given to you before the test.
- Be calm and confident all the time during the test.

IELTS Exam 2024 results
The IELTS exam results are given to you with two different ways. If you get IELTS test on paper based, result will be declared after 13 days of the test date. On the other hand, when you take test on computer based, result will be announced after 4 to 5 days of the test.
