What is IELTS Listening?

IELTS listening test is same for both IELTS Academic and IELTS General. This test assesses your ability to read, listen, understand the main ideas, skim, scan, to understand the purpose and opinion of speaker.

IELTS listening consists of 40 questions. In this section, four audios are played: two of them are about social context or deal with everyday situation.
